Pauline Longworth Duncan Thacker, age 82 ofMiddlesboro, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She was born September 30, 1930 in Lee County, VA, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ed (Clara) Sivils. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three former husbands, Joseph Allen Longworth, Leonard A. Duncan, and Ray Thacker; and her brother-in-law, Don Bennett. She was a long time member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Daryl (Betty) Longworth of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Paula Ann Longworth of Middlesboro and Edward Longworth of Knoxville, TN; sister, Anna Mae Bennett of Middlesboro and nephew, Mike (Rita) Bennett of Harrogate, TN; special friends, Trey Jordan “Toodles” Mike, Dee and Joyce Middleton; special friends at Amedysis, Home Health and the Senior Citizen Center; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Greene and Rev. Don Bannister officiating. Music will be provided by Ray Spicer, Alex and Paige Campbell, and Dennis Howard. Graveside service will be at noon, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Scott Cemetery in Harrogate, Tenn. Pallbearers will be Edward Longworth, Mike Bennett, Dan Bayless, Scotty Duncan, Doug Spade, and T. J. Ayers. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
