A Middlesboro man was arrested on theft charges Saturday for stealing copper belonging to AT&T.
Tommy Lee Upton, 36, was arrested by officer Justin Barton of the Middlesboro Police Department on a charge of theft by unlawful taking over $500.
According to the arrest citation, Upton allegedly took 120 pounds of copper from AT&T on Oct. 25 with the intent to deprive the company.
