A few citizens of Bell County stopped to lend a helping hand to what may have been a complete stranger early Friday morning. As one man was driving his truck through intersection in front of Hardee’s along US 25E, a load of wood fell off his truck. The wood scattered in the road as other cars drove by, but a few concerned citizens stopped to help him out by picking the wood up and putting it back on the truck bed.
