Rain washed out the Panthers’ game at Union County on Thursday, they’re scheduled to play Tri-County North, Ohio, Saturday morning at Middlesboro. The Yellow Jackets are hosting the Billy Joe Idol Memorial Tournament, which also had games rained out on Thursday. Weather permitting, MHS has games against Whitley County, Knox Central and Tri-County North in the tournament, which runs through Saturday. Also today, Cumberland Gap’s softball team is hosting Claiborne while the Bell County baseball team heads to Lincoln County for a double-header with Webster County.
