WILLIAMSBURG — The Bell County Bobcats outscored Williamsburg 19-11 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 56-49 win Monday. It was Bell’s second straight win and evened their record at 2-2 on the season.
The Bobcats were led by Tyler Potter’s 19 points while Jake Patterson added 16 and Josh Asher ten in the victory. Corey Shelton scored 20 points to lead the Yellow Jackets while Skyler Griffith and Dalton Sizemore finished with ten points each.
Williamsburg led 14-12 after the first quarter and 25-22 at the half. Bell trimmed the lead to just one point at 38-37 after three quarters and dominated the fourth quarter to take the road win.
Both teams return to action Friday with Williamsburg (1-2) playing at Barbourville and Bell County (2-2) hosting Perry Central.
