Four individuals were arrested after the Middlesboro Police Department (MPD) raided a meth lab operation on Thursday. Harold R. Price, Charles Wayne Shelby II, Nakisha Warf and Ronnie G. Turner were all arrested on meth charges.
When officer Chuck Bruce of the MPD searched Price’s residence, he allegedly found a small bag with white powder inside Price’s top chest-of-drawers, according to the arrest citation. The powder later tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to the citation, Bruce also found a working meth lab inside the residence with tubing and all the other ingredients needed to manufacture the substance inside.
Price, 44, of Middlesboro, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing methamphetamine.
Shelby, 41, of Middlesboro, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine because he was found inside the residence with the active meth lab in his lap, according to the arrest citation.
Warf, 27, of Middlesboro, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine for being inside the residence. She was also arrested on first-degree possession of a controlled substance after Bruce allegedly found two small bags of meth in her left pants pocket, according to the arrest citation.
Turner, 62, of Middlesboro, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having a small bag of meth on his person. According to the citation, Turner was leaving Price’s residence when Bruce arrived.
As of Friday afternoon, all the individuals remained in custody at the Bell County Detention Center.
In other police news, a Colmar woman was arrested on theft charges.
Heather M. Davis, 25, was arrested by officer Josh Burchett of the MPD on the charge of receiving stolen property over $500.
According to the arrest citation, Davis had items stolen from JSE storage units in her possession. Davis allegedly participated in the distribution of the stolen items.
As of Friday afternoon, she remained in custody at the Bell County Detention Center.
