Several individuals received their final sentencing on Monday in Bell Circuit Court for various drug charges.
Robert Philpot, 57, of Pineville, was sentenced to three years in the penitentiary on the charge of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance. The charge stems from a 2012 arrest by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department.
Also sentenced on a trafficking charge was Linda Graster, 38, of Middlesboro. She was sentenced to two years in the penitentiary for second-degree trafficking a controlled substance.
Graster also received a court date for a kidnapping charge. She will go to trial on that charge on July 23.
Jamie Michelle Lewis was sentenced to three years in the penitentiary for two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance. The sentences were set to run concurrently.
A couple of individuals were also sentenced for drug possession charges. Alicia J. Brock, 26, of Pineville, was sentenced to three years in the penitentiary for first-degree possession of a controlled substance. If the sentence is probated, she will be placed on supervised probation for three years.
Jason Messer, 29, of Arjay, was the second person sentenced for first-degree drug possession (meth) and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to one year in the penitentiary for the meth charge and 12 months in the Bell County Jail for the marijuana possession charge.
Other sentences handed down in circuit court include:
■ Tiffany Shea Partin, of Middlesboro, was sentenced to three years in the penitentiary for second-degree forgery and fraudulant use of a credit card after report loss;
■ Allison A. Green, 25, of New Tazewell, Tenn., was sentenced to five years in the penitentiary for two counts of third-degree assault and 90 days for public intoxication with a controlled substance, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She will actually serve 90 days in the Bell County Jail for all charges. She will be placed on supervised probation for five years for the assault charges as well.
