The Lady Jackets went 1-2 and placed third in the Pine Mountain Classic, but could have easily won all three of their games.
“These three games I thought was really the hardest we’ve played this season. Our kids got after it and got on the floor after loose balls. We’ve just got to put some smarts with the aggressiveness. I’m proud of the way they played hard. I’m a little disappointed in the fourth quarters and how we took care of the basketball,” said MHS coach Elgie Green. “We just don’t know how to win yet in tight ballgames, we have not figured it out. If they’ll keep working hard they’ll get one or two of those wins and hopefully we can turn the second part of the season around.”
