A third person has been arrested involving a robbery at a residence on Wilderness Road.
Jonathon Douglas Smith, 19, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Jordan Hurd of the Middlesboro Police Department and charged with first-degree robbery.
According to the arrest citation, Smith, along with Josh Smith and Rachel Farr, used physical force to accomplish a theft at the residence. Witnesses state Jonathon Smith bragged about the robbery following the incident.
As of Monday afternoon, Jonathon Smith remained in custody at the Bell County Detention Center. He was also charged with public intoxication.
Josh Smith, 20, of Middlesboro, and Farr, 22, of Middlesboro, were arrested on robbery charges stemming from the same incident about a week ago.
Tommy Ewell Smith, 22, of Middlesboro, was also arrested recently on a felony charge. He was arrested by Chuck Bruce on the charge of theft of identity of another without consent, operating on suspended/revoked license, a probation violation warrant and was served four bench warrants.
