An Ingram man has been arrested on drug possession charges in Middlesboro.
Elijah K. Morrison, 31, was arrested on two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, Morrison was spotted traveling west bound on KY 74 without a registration plate. The vehicle was then pulled over by Middlesboro Police Officer Barry Cowan on South 15th Street.
While a search was being conducted on the vehicle, a clear baggie was allegedly found containing two red tablets with “30” marked on them. On the other side of the vehicle, a small bag was allegedly found with a white substance inside.
It was later determined that the substance was methamphetamine, according to police.
Morrison was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
