Organizers of the Fun4Kidz Festival are preparing for this year’s event to be held at the downtown Middlesboro city parking lot on May 4.
The festival is adding a car show this year to an already packed offering of fun and entertainment. People who may have a car to enter are encouraged to contact Rita Hansard, event organizer, at (606) 670-2173. Organizers believe a car show will make the event even more special.
Hansard is excited to build on last year’s success.
The event promises to be a fun outing for young and old alike, said Hansard.
Local performer Christopher Tuttle is scheduled to perform. Tuttle is becoming known for putting together an engaging, energetic show.
Other entertainment will come from the Cumberland River Academy and a band called “Malachi.” Malachi, is also a regional band that has gained much experience and accolade. These musical entertainers will provide a diversity of sounds that everyone can enjoy, said Hansard.
Children can participate in other activities as well. Inflatables will be on site for the younger crowd.
Food will be available. Vendors will be set up and eager to serve the crowd. If you are interested in registering as a vendor, contact Hansard at (606) 670-2173.
The event promotes community involvement, according to Hansard.
“The location is excellent for families to come out and enjoy a fun day in beautiful downtown Middlesboro,” said Hansard.
There is also a noble and noteworthy motivation associated with the event. The festival serves to promote and hopefully benefit the Bell County March of Dimes.
The event is free to the public.
