A single-vehicle wreck along KY 1491 on Pine Mountain sent a woman to the hospital with injuries. According to deputy Shane Stewart of the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, Brandi Hines lost control of her 1998 Ford Expedition on her way home from work at the Pine Mountain State Park Lodge. She left the roadway and flipped at least once. Hines was transported to Pineville Community Hospital by Bell County EMS. Stewart was assisted at the scene by deputy Jared Smith and the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department.
