A wreck Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Harlan County man and injured a second. Bobby Daniels Sr., 65, of Pathfork, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck on Fonde Mountain. Kentucky Department of Transportation representative Robert Perkins addressed Bell Fiscal Court on Tuesday to discuss the Rural Secondary Road Program recommendations for fiscal year 2014. FRANKFORT (AP) — Kentucky General Fund revenue declined sharply in February, largely due to a weak performance by the state’s income tax, a state official said Monday. For a limited time, Bell County’s low-income homeowners can apply for a PRIDE grant to replace a failing septic system or straight pipe.
