Man pleads guilty to drug charge
A man indicted on a first-degree drug charge pleaded guilty in Bell Circuit Court on Friday. Mark Edward Stephens, 37, of Coldiron, pleaded guilty to the charge of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance. Stephens was indicted on the drug charge approximately eight months ago. The Connecticut man accused of transporting a Bell County teen to New Britain, Conn., has been indicted. David Hernandez, 51, of New Britain, was indicted on the charge of custodial interference. Hernandez allegedly took a teenager to New Britain earlier this year. She was 14 years old at the time. She was found approximately 48 hours later.
