WHITESBURG (AP) — Kentucky statistics show that coal production in some of the state’s historically big producers dropped in 2012 to the lowest levels seen in 47 years. Staff Report Multiple cows were shot last week, according to deputy Shane Stewart of the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. There were several cows shot between Wednesday and Thursday on farms near the Industrial Park . Six of those cows died and several others are missing.
