Members of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College’s faculty, staff and students along with numerous public officials and representatives from Eastern Kentucky University met on Wednesday to commemorate a new joint venture — an aviation program.Representatives from both schools spoke on how the program was going to benefit students.Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College President Dr. Lynn Moore spoke to the crowd about how excited she was for this opportunity for students.“Dr. Benson and I are forging a new relationship,” said Moore with a smile.She continued by talking about reaching out to students and offering more opportunities.
