Born Feb. 7, 1945, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Russell) Crawford. He believed in the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary Del (Sutton) Crawford, Harrogate; four sons, Timothy Bryan Crawford and wife Patricia, Morristown, Tenn., Anthony Ray Crawford and wife Donna, Spartanburg, NC, Thomas Franklin Crawford and wife Eisei of Panama City, Fla., and Michael Scott Crawford, Harrogate; five grandchildren, Jessica Lynn, Jamie Leigh, Julian Thomas, Justin Franklin, Desirae Brianna Crawford; one very special great-granddaughter, Madyson Michelle Crawford; sister, Sylvia Wooton, Middlesboro; brothers, Melvin Crawford, Harrogate, and Jimmy Crawford, Talbot, Tenn.; special niece, Paula Michelle Wooton; two special cousins, Ronnie Barton and Lorraine (Dees) Barnett; special best friend, Luke Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Coffey Funeral Home, Harrogate Chapel, with the Pastor Larry Kidwell presiding. Singers will be Pam and Charby Jones.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Larry "Apple" Adkins, Claude Parker, Eddie Partin, Ancil Sandifer, Robin Venable, and Bobby Smiddy Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Coffey Funeral Home, Harrogate Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Arthritis Foundation.
