Both Cumberland Gap teams are on a home winning streak after last week's match-ups with Hancock County, Union County, and Thomas Walker. The Lady Panthers defeated Union County, 54-50, on January 14. They were led by point guard Sara Barnard with 19, followed by Amy Seal's 11. Renae Devault led UC with 20.

Then on January 15, Cumberland Gap hosted Thomas Walker, VA. The Lady Panthers finished over the Lady Pioneers 66-49. Sara Barnard led again with 23, followed by Whitney Vannoy with 14.

The Panthers also had two impressive finishes last week, defeating Union County 56-46, and Thomas Walker 83-47.

Cumberland Gap will host Gatlinburg Pittman Friday January 21, 2004, and will crown their 2005 Homecoming Queen between the girls and boys games.
