On Sunday Feb. 27, both Comet teams brought home the first place win. The Rocky Top Classic heer competition was held at the Thompson Bowling Arena at the University of Tennessee. The Comets last competition for this season will be held in Gatlinburg on March 19.
Signups for next season's Comets teams will begin in April. If you are between the ages of Kindergarten and ninth grade (next school year) and would like to join the Comets cheer program, please call Abby Turner at (423) 626-8782 for details.
There will be two teams consisting of: Pee Wees grades kindergarten through fourth and Juniors grades fifth through ninth. Both teams will be coached by Abby Turner.
