The Comets Alistars Twinkles ended their season in a grand style, as they cheered, danced, tumbled and did fabulous stunts on Saturday, March 1 9~ to win first place at UCA's Smokey Mountain Spring Spectacular in Gatlinburg, TN. The Comets competed against two other teams for bragging rights to the first place trophy.
The Comets have had a wonderful year, bringing home two first place, one second place and two third place trophies. The Comets Twinkles were coached by Cheryl Simmons and assisted by Raquel Simmons and Allison Bryan. They were coached in tumbling by Billie Bryan. This will be the last year that these coaches will be with the Comets program, they will be coaching at Tri-State Cheer and Sports Training Center opening soon in Middlesboro, KY.
