She was of the baptist faith and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father: Tilmon Ayers; brothers: Paul and Robert Ayers.
She is survived by her husband: Condie Poore; mother: Ollie Marie (Sutton) Ayers both of Tazewell; sons: Ray and wife Bobbie Joe Poore of New Tazewell; Bill and wife Debra Poore, Tilmon and wife Robin Poore, Mitchell and wife Lisa Poore all of Tazewell; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers: Chester and wife Frances Ayers of Harrogate, Frank Ayers of Tazewell, Timothy and wife Billie June Ayers of Tazewell, Gerald and wife Kathy Ayers of Harrogate; sisters: Clara Mae Shelton of Tazewell, Glenda and husband Joe Brooks of Tazewell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leonard Hatfield and Rev. David Billingsley officiating. Songs by the Leatherwood Singers. Burial in the Riverview Cemetery.
