Senior Randy Blakley (1-3) earned the win for Harlan. The right-hander struck out 10 and walked four while giving up seven hits.
Jon Graham and Patrick Ball each singled twice to lead the Dragons. John Smith, Shea Moody, J.D. Heck and Blakley each added a single.
Chris Hale paced Pineville with a double. Jared Jeffrey, David Adams, Ben Johnson, Justin Knuckles, Dustin Warren and Scottie Hollingsworth each singled.
Johnson suffered the loss on the mound for the Mountain Lions.
Harlan (9-5) returns to action Thursday at Evarts. Pineville (0-8) will play host to the J. Frank White Academy (Tenn.) on Thursday.
