She was a member of New Bethel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elmer Lakins; parents: John Shelton and Lillie Johnson Daniels Shelton; 3 sisters: Bobbie Mills, Hassie King, Orlena Lakins; 2 brothers: Leonard Daniels and Rev. Henry Shelton; 1 daughter: Mary Lois (Jackie) Mulneix.
She is survived by her son: Gary Lakins; son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Kathy Lakins; daughters and sons-in-law: Dorothy and Bill Coker, Joyce and Patrick Pace, Glenda and Martin Paciorek all of Oh, Rhonda and George Hurley of Speedwell; son-in-law: Kay Mulneix of Oh; 14 grandchildren: Brenda and James Hunter; Tara Fowler, Eric and Dawn Mulneix, Shawn My Young Mulneix, Robin and Frank DeLaure, Donna and Tim Krevinko, Mike and Denise Pace, Marty Paciorek, Dawn Paciorek, Mike and Kelly Paciorek, Kristine Lakins, David Lakins, Justin Lakins, Allison and Tom O'Neill; 24 great grandchildren: Daniel and Susan Hunter, Joy and Jessie Johnson, Nicole Hunter, Sara Fowler, Jeremy Fowler, Jason Fowler, Anthony Imm, Mike Brozoruski, Kevin Mulneix, Angel Mulneix, Joe Mulneix, Vickie Mulneix, Jon Mulneix, Jessica DeLaure, Josh DeLaure, Mike DeLaure, Tiffany DeLaure, Heather Paciorek, Matthew Massengill, Nathon Paciorek, Brennan Paciorek, Aiden Paciorek, Thomas O'Neill V, Lilly Mae Pace; 9 great great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jakie Cunningham, officiating. Songs by Rev. Fred Reed and Brenda Bolden. Burial in the Singleton Cemetery.
