Why the WALK FOR CHRIST? The objective of the Walk For Christ is to bring and call attention to Jesus Christ, to Honor, Praise, and Glorify Him for the Road of Life, he walked for each of us. As the teachings of Christ is open to everyone who will accept Him, the Walk is open to any denomination or church group, individuals, and especially, kids and teenagers who desire to participate.

All are Welcome, whether from Claiborrie County, or the surrounding counties and States. We hope to promote UNITY, FELLOWSHIP, AND HARMONY between individuals and church congregations of all denominations in Walking For Christ, together as one body.

We are encouraging kids and teenage groups to participate in the Gospel Singing Program at Gose Optimist Park as well as the Walk.

Registration begins at 9:00AM at Old CCHS (RAIN OR SHINE). Walk Ride will begin 10:00 - 10:15AM for 3 miles,

If unable to walk, you can ride in a caravan of wagons, pickups, etc. - will follow the walkers. You can bring your pickups, wagons, etc., or The Walk For Christ will have rides available.

If you miss the Walk / Ride, please join us at the park - Program will start approximately 12:00 noon.

Food, Cold Drinks, Gospel Singing & Fellowship in Christ at Park, FREE TO ALL the entire day.

Tents for shelter / shade / rain will be provided at the park.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on at park.

Buses will transport you from Optimist Park to Old CCHS before the Walk. Buses at park at

9:00AM.

Buses will transport you from Park to Old CCHS after the Walk.

We invite everyone to be with us whether or not you're in church, to

Fellowship and praise Christ as One Body.
