TAZEWELL, Tenn- (May 14, 2005) Mother Nature captured her third win of the year at Tazewell Speedway on Saturday, May 14th as Drivers and Fans were pouring in from around the country to witness what was shaping up to be the most successful race in Tazewell Speedway's 40 year history.

Many of the nation's "Premier Dirt Late Model Drivers" had already rolled in the gates at "The Taz" such as; Donnie Moran, Dennis Erb, Billy Ogle, Jr., Earl Pearson, Jr., Terry English, Scott Sexton along with several others looking to capture the "Citizens Bank 75" $10,000 pay day, but mother nature had other plans in store as the skies opened up and the rain came.

Tazewell Speedway officials planned on 'sticking it out' but looking at the East Tennessee Doppler Radar, things weren't looking too good as it seemed that rain and thunderstorms were heading in the direction of Tazewell Speedway, so owner John Thompson decided to postpone the Lucas Oil Dirt Car Series "Citizens Bank 75" until a later date. At this time it looks as if the "Citizens Bank 75" will be ran on Saturday, September 3rd.

Tazewell Speedway will return to action next Saturday, May 21st with a full slate of racing including; Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Modified Street, Pure Street and Four-Cylinders.
