PINEVILLE - Two Bell County men have been indicted by the Bell County grand jury for the Creekside Market robbery.
Eddie Wayne Gray, of Middlesboro, and Joshua L. Miller, of Pineville, both 19, were indicted on separate charges relating to the June 21 robbery.
Gray is charged with first-degree robbery after he allegedly threatened to cut or stab Telisa Smith, a worker at the market, while in the process of the robbery.
Miller is charged with first-degree complicity to commit robbery for allegedly aiding Gray in the incident.
In a separate case, the grand jury also issued an additional indictment for Gray, which alleges one day prior to the market incident, he broke into the home of Jessie Adkins while armed with a deadly weapon.
Roger Singleton, 31, of Middlesboro, was indicted for third-degree burglary that stems from a May 29 incident in which he allegedly broke into a building belonging to Henry Lawson.
Singleton was also indicted in a separate document for two counts of receiving stolen property over $300. He allegedly received/retained/disposed of a Murry Ridding Lawn Mower, which had been stolen from Wal-Mart and selling the mower to Mary Henderson for $900. Along with the mower, an ATV which had been stolen from Willard Minton, was sold to John Allen for $400.
Three other Middlesboro residents were also indicted on several theft by deception and drug charges. They include:
Pamela Garland, 44, indicted for theft by unlawful taking or disposition, possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone ) first degree, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense and being a persistent felony offender, second degree.
Garland's indictment indicates she allegedly took merchandise from Dawahares unlawfully on or about April 29 of this year.
Ralph Nichols, 40, of Middlesboro, indicted for theft of a controlled substance and theft of a legend drug, first offenses.
Nichol's indictment indicates that on or about April 1 of this year, he allegedly took Lortab from the RX Discount Pharmacy belonging to someone else. Along with the Lortab, he is also being indicted for taking Diclofenac, which is a legend drug, from the same pharmacy.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt and trials for the accused will be scheduled in court at a later date.
