An early afternoon accident left two Daily News employees injured on Tuesday.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Roxy Bersch, 44, Cumberland Gap, Tenn., and Mike Miracle, 47, of Miracle, both suffered injuries when the 2001 Nissan truck they were traveling in was struck by a 1992 Buick driven by David Jones, 47, of Putney.
The accident report stated that Jones was traveling south on U.S. 119 on Tanyard Hill when he crossed into the northbound lane and struck the Nissan. The report indicated that drugs may have been a contributing factor to the accident.
Jones also suffered injuries in the accident.
All three were transported to Pineville Community Hospital.
