These brethren supplied the ministry materials as well as the meals for the participants of the meeting. They taught morning and afternoon workshops to one 117 registered pastors on leadership training; as well as preached the community wide evangelistic night services.
Also included on the team was Chasity Long of Abundant Life Fellowship in Middlesboro, and Heather Scearse from Faith Temple Church in Middlesboro. Enough crafts, activity coloring books, crayons, candy, toothbrushes, small toys and face painting, was carried in by the team to distribute to 100 children.
”The response of this trip was overwhelming,“ says Rev. Long. ”The praise and worship during the services was spiritually refreshing.“
He says the pastors came with hungry heart, open to hear a fresh Word and to receive a blessing during the personal ministry time.
According to team members, the evangelistic night services were filled to capacity and produced multiple rededication's and first time salvation's, the crafts ministry that was prepared for 100 exceeded that number the first night, and steadily increased with 150 or more children in the other services.
”Honestly,“ says Rev. Long, ”the real winners on this trip were the team members from the impact this has made on their lives. The other winner in the equation is the Tri-State area being represented by individuals with Christ's character and integrity that provided genuine biblical ministry with compassion and love.“
