Three people were injured in an accident on Highway 63 Tuesday just before noon. A green Chevrolet Silverado with a load of building supplies was heading east on 63 near Red Hill Circle when another vehicle pulled out onto the highway.

When the driver swerved to miss it he ran into the back of a Trailblazer that was parked on the shoulder. Three people inside the Trailblazer, including two seniors, were taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The driver of the Silverado, pictured above, avoided injury, though he was covered by concrete when a bag exploded during the impact. The names of those involved were not available at press time.
