One person was injured Monday morning when they lost control of their car on U.S. 25E, ran off the road, and knocked over the sign at the Pineville Dairy Queen. Witnesses say the car had a blow-out and the driver was not able to regain control before hitting the sign. Pineville's assistant police chief Gary Lambdin is investigating the accident. He responded to the scene along with members of the Pineville Fire Department. The car involved has Claiborne County, Tenn., tags. The driver, a man, was not identified before he was taken to the nearby Pineville Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.
