Charles Clayton Bullard, age 91, of LaSalle, Mi, was born in Speedwell, September 8, 1914 and passed away November 30, 2005 at the Lutheran Home where he had been a resident for the last 2 years.

He was a 53-year member of the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center. He has been a member of Valley Star Lodge #577 of Speedwell since 1935 and a Thirty-Second degree member of the Detroit chapter of Scottish Rite Masonry. He was the son of Jesse Lafayette Bullard and Sally Ann (Mundy) Bullard. He married Cleo Opal Leach, December 24, 1934, in Jacksboro. They were married 67 years. He was preceded in death by his wife: Cleo; daughter: Jo Anne; sisters: Janette and Bess; brothers: Jesse and Jordan.

He is survived by brother: Clyde of Speedwell; two sons: William (Lulla) of Crossville and Ronald (Terry) of Delaware, Oh; daughter: Colleen (Patrick) VanSlambrouck of Kalamazoo, Mi; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

A Masonic service was held Sunday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services were Monday, December 5 at 11 a.m. at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center with Reverends Samuel Luke and Sally Martin of the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center officiating. Burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home of Monroe Activities Fund, the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center, or Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe. (pd.)
