A single pass for unlimited visits in a month is $20 and a month-long family pass is $30. A single year-long pass is $199, while a year-long family pass is $299.
"The passes will really save people money, especially for people who swim a couple times a week." LMU Aquatic Coordinator and program director Floyde Anne Gardner said. "Our goal was to make the pool easier to use. Many of our regular patrons have been asking for these passes for a long time."
The passes are limited to open swim times and do not include any swimming lessons or other aquatic programs offered at the LMU pool.
LMU also offers a number of aquatic programs throughout the week. Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. children in first grade through middle school are invited to "Swim with Diego." The program offers organized games, some swim instruction and free swim.
Swim Club with Bill Stapleton meets from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays. The program is open to fifth graders and above. It focuses on perfecting strokes and could include some competitive swimming. Stapleton also hosts Early Bird Lap Swim from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The pool will be available for open laps or people can participate in a lap program led by Stapleton.
