Denver Ray Widner, age 42, was born September 15, 1963 in Knoxville and passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at the University of Tennessee Hospital.

He proclaimed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was the son of Clay and Wanda Widner. He was the grandson of the late George and Fannie Widner and Clifford and Ida Robertson.

He is survived by his daughter: Heather Williams and husband Alex; special granddaughter: Jade; son: Jeremy; sisters: Debra Tipton and husband Ronnie, Della England; brothers: David Widner and wife Lisa, Darren Widner and wife Shaunta; several nieces, nephews; two great nephews and a special uncle; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Monday, April 17 at 10 a.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.C. Monday and Rev. Jack Day officiating. Songs by Darlene Collins. Burial in the Drummonds Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dean Mullins, Donnie Robertson, Richard Neely, Steve Smith, Wendell Williams, Danny Williams. Honorary pallbearers: Jason England and Daniel Tipton.
