Jessica Sturdivant, 28, was indicted on second degree burglary for an incident that occurred on or about March 12 of this year, in which she allegedly broke into the home of Aletha Farley.
In the same case but on a different indictment, a Pathfork man was indicted for first degree attempted burglary and carrying a concealed, deadly weapon.
James R. Craig, 19, was indicted for allegedly breaking into a building, owned by Jimmy Sturdivant, while armed with a hi-point .380 caliber pistol.
Eight other individuals were indicted on various charges. They include:
Stevie Reed Jackson, 33, of Pineville; indicted on one count of receiving stolen property (over $300), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and being a persistent felony offender.
Jackson's indictment alleges that on or about Sept. 2 of last year, he received/retained/disposed of a marlin 30/30 rifle which had been stolen from Debbie James, and selling the rifle T. J. Saylor, 48, of Stoney Fork.
T. J. Saylor was indicted for allegedly receiving stolen property in the incident outlined above
In another case, two Middlesboro men were indicted in different court documents for receiving stolen property.
Marcus F. Moe, Jr., 39, and
Michael A. Rodriguez, 19, were both indicted on two counts each of receiving stolen property.
Both of their indictments state that on or about March 16 of last year, the two allegedly received/retained/disposed of property, which had been stolen from Bobby Smith, valued at more than $593, and pawning the property at Roy's Recycling.
Gilbert O. Smith, 40, of Wallins; indicted on one count of second degree forgery, receiving stolen property, and giving an officer a false name or address.
Smith's indictment alleges that on or about Feb. 4 of this year, he forged a name to a check not belonging to him in the amount of more than $529 and passed it at Sears store.
His indictment also alleges he received/retained/disposed of property belonging to Sears, valued at more than $109.
Eddie Dwayne Muncy, 49, of Middlesboro; indicted on two counts of first degree trafficking in controlled substance (morphine, cocaine), first offense.
Floyd Ray Branson, 29, of Pineville; indicted on the charges of tampering with physical evidence, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, second offense, operating on a suspended or revoked operator's license, and rear license plate not illuminated.
Cora Duncan Kyle, 38, of Middlesboro; indicted on the charges of rear license not illuminated, reckless driving, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to produce insurance card, failure of non-owner/operator to maintain required insurance, first offense, possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, second offense (with aggravating circumstances), and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, fourth or greater offense.
An indictment is not proof of guilt and trials for the accused are scheduled for court at a later date.
