HARROGATE, Tenn. - Maude “Mae” Littrell, born Sept. 24, 1910, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at the age of 95, after a prolonged illness.

She was a member of Marble Hill United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Cameron and Fay Wallen Blakemore; her husband, Daniel H. Littrell; infant son, Donald Littrell; brothers, Clarence Blakemore, Roy Blakemore and Sewell Blakemore; and sisters, Eula Osborne and Vivian Leonard.

She is survived by her niece and foster sister, Eunice Leonard; nephews, Wayne (Donna) Blakemore, Roger (Michelle) Blakemore, Cletis ‘Sonny' (LouAnn) Blakemore, Johnny (Debi) Campbell, Mark (Kristie) Brown, and Aaron Brown; nieces, Barbara (Stewart) Fultz, Shirley (J.T.) Campbell, Linda (Harold) Brown, Cathy (Grat) King, Clara Wilson, Dena (Marvin) Watkins, and Debra (Jeff) Myrick; many great nephews and nieces; three special nieces, Hannah Watkins, Courtney Campbell, and Olivia Brown; and one sister-in-law, Stella Blakemore.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at Reece Valley Chapel with the Rev. Stewart Fultz officiating. Honorary minister will be Rev. Albert Liford. Music by Billy Cunningham and Inez Goins.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Old Gibson Cemetery, Ewing, Va. Pallbearers are Roger Blakemore, Wayne Blakemore, Johnny Campbell, Harold Brown, Aaron Brown, Cody Watkins, and Mark Brown.
