FRAKES - Sarah “Lunda” Fletcher, 95, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 9, 2006.

Born on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ellen Vaughn Murray. She was united in marriage to the late Lemuel L. Fletcher in October 1932. Lunda and Lemuel had five children.

One son, Wallace Fletcher, preceded her in death, as well as two brothers, Edmond Murray and Kenneth Murray; and one sister, Mary Murray Gibson.

Survivors include her sons, Willard Fletcher, Frakes; Wilburn Fletcher and wife, Loretta, grandson, Wilburn Fletcher Jr. and special friend, Mandy Brock, of Frakes, and Harrogate, Tenn., granddaughter, Theresa Roark of Middlesboro; daughter, Wilma and husband, Ray Palmblad, granddaughters, Donna Chmelar and Dianne Moss, all of Walhalla, S.C.; daughter, Waunita and husband, Ray Partin of Walhalla, S.C., granddaughter, Kathleen Taylor of Westminster, S.C., Kristen Longmire of Greenwood, S.C., Gloria Lynn Fletcher, of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandchildren, John Chmelar, Ethan Moss and Aaron Moss, all of Walhalla, S.C., Gail Chmelar, Columbia, S.C., Alyssa Taylor and Avery Taylor of Westminster, S.C., Jamie, Timothy and Cindy Fletcher, Ashley Roark and Chase Roark of Middlesboro; five great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the family plot at George Partin Cemetery at Frakes.
