The wedding ceremony will take place at the home of the bride's grandfather, Charlie Williams, in Ewing on May 13 at 2 p.m., with a reception immediately following. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
The couple also will host a reception in Washington, DC, at the Mansion on O Street, on May 20 at p.m.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Thomas Walker High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Virginia. She is currently a health policy consultant at Avalere Health in Washington, D.C. She will begin graduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health this fall.
She is the granddaughter of Charlie Williams and the late Bartie Williams of Ewing, and Mildred Turner and the late Hoover Turner of Rose Hill.
The bridegroom grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and graduated from Portage Northern High School in Kalamazoo, Mich., in 1993 and American University in 1998. He is a journalist and photographer currently serving as the Foreign Producer and Baghdad Bureau Chief for National Public Radio.
He is the grandson of the late Frederick Faber Forbes and Nina Forbes and the late Thomas Sterling Bullock I and Francis Bullock.
The couple met in 2003 in Washington, D.C, where they both currently live, and were engaged in Cairo, Egypt last year.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Baltimore, Md.
