She was born June 13, 1923, at Arjay, a daughter of the late James Frank and Ethel Taylor Harrison. She attended Binghamtown Baptist Church, and had worked for a paper manufacturing plant for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Edwin “Poppy” Harrison.
Survivors include her nephew James and Vada Dozier; great-nephew, Chris and Misty Dozier; great-niece, Ashley and Jeff Smith; and great-great-nephew, Kade Smith; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Terrell Gibson presiding.
Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
