She was born in Bell County on March 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Ewing Shackleford and Margaret Helen Fuson Shackleford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Breeding; and one brother, Melvin Shackleford; and four children.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Letha (Wayne) Givens; three brothers, R.E. (Ellen) Shackleford, P.L. (Roberta) Shackleford, Donnie (Glenda) Shackleford; two special nieces, Pam Shackleford Sulfrige, and Helen (Givens) Hunter; a host of nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Givens presiding.
The family eill receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Shumate Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shackleford Cemetery.
