She was born March 12, 1955, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Ben and Helen Carter. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Amy Jo Marsee.
Survivors include her two children, Christopher Norman Marsee, Middlesboro, and Becky (Jeff) Cupp, Middlesboro; grandchildren, Kelcy and Jacob Marsee, Middlesboro, and Kaitlyn and Lauryn Cupp; brother Donald (Melissa) Carter, Middlesboro; sisters, Vickie Evans, Middlesboro, Sherry Fuson, Middlesboro, Judy Carter, Morristown, Tenn., Debbie (Jimmy) England, Middlesboro; aunt Marie Carter, Ewing, Va.; uncle, Hank Carter, Ewing, Va.; special friend, Janice Goforth, Camden, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. William Boyd Bingham and the Rev. Robert Terry presiding.
Interment will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Michael Bean, Jason Bean, Todd Fuson, Joe Bean, Brian Carter, and Don Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Fuson, Adam Hickman and Tim Evans.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Saturda0y at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
