Two victims were severely injured in a single vehicle accident near Clairfield, Tenn., Monday afternoon. The accident occurred on Tennessee Highway 90 near the Clairfield Elementary School when a pickup truck left the highway, flipped and landed further down the ditchline facing the opposite direction. The mishap trapped the victims inside. Members of the Bell County Rescue Squad worked successfully to release the victims. The Claiborne County Ambulance Service transported the victims to the school where they were airlifted to the hospital. Claiborne County Sheriff's office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol worked the accident and victim information was not immediately made available by either office.
