Harrogate, Tenn. — The Livesay Middle School boy’s basketball team has recently finished it’s Claiborne County season with an unblemished mark of twelve wins and no losses.

Livesay won the county regular season title and added the county tournament title to it’s resume in late December.

Blake Franklin was the County Tournament MVP while Blake Arnold, Zach Gilbert, Brian Hale and Wesley Nance were added to the all-tournament team.

Livesay takes it’s 12-1 record into district play this week as they begin a new season in East Tennessee. Jacksboro and Lake City are on the slate with Maynardville and Oneida as their last games of the regular season.

The only loss of the year for the Eagles came in district play at the hands of rival LaFollette.

Head Coach Ernie Clawson is optimistic about his team being able to compete in the district and he has high hopes of them going deep in the district tournament later this month at Anderson County High School.
