The CHS Lady Bulldogs Softball Team would like to thank everyone in the community that bought Krispy Kreme donuts from their last fundraising campaign. Because many of you selflessly put your diets on hold, the team was able to sell 500 dozen donuts and raise the necessary funds for much needed equipment. As your tax dollars are not allocated to the softball program, the team is responsible for raising the money needed for the entire operation-from grounds maintenance to uniforms and equipment to the building of the fieldhouse. The team is currently pulling the finishing touches on the fieldhouse and restrooms, so that it will be ready for hosting the games next spring. Give yourselves a big pat on the back and then plan to come out and watch the girls play ball in a facility that you - a generous, caring community - helped to build.
