Miracle - Ethel Wombles, 85, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at Middlesboro ARH.

She was the daughter of the late Henry Calvin Miracle and Rachel Miracle, and was a member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church.

A daughter, Juanita, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Henry Wombles, Miracle; children, James Miracle, Frankfort, Ky., Elmer Wombles, Raleigh, N.C., Henrietta Dees, Harrison, Ohio, Jimmie Wombles, Cincinnati, Ohio, Johnnie Wombles, Lakeland, Fla., Reva Widener, Miracle, Shirley Partin, Pineville; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, with the Rev. Mike Raines and the Rev. Scott Dunn presiding. Music will be provided by Southern Gospel Music recording artist Tim Small.

Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at Creech Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Johnnie Wombles Jr., Wayne Widener, Christopher Wombles, Mark Widener, Jimmie Partin Jr., and Chuck Dees. Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren.

Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
