Brooke Ausmus was elected the 2006 homecoming queen at H.Y. Livesay Middle School. The coronation ceremony held Nov. 30, concluded a week of homecoming festivities. Serving as the new homecoming queen's escort was Chad Garren. Both students are eighth graders at Livesay. In addition to the homecoming queen, each grade elected a princess. Elected as princesses were: Brooke Ausmus, eighth grade; Lyndsey Jones, seventh grade; Autumn Reynolds, sixth grade; and Tiffany Ellis, fifth grade.
