She was born Feb. 20, 1907, in Rose Hill, Va., the daughter of the late Elliott and Maggie King. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Cole; children, Maggie Helms, Dorothy Cole, Otheta Rodgers, Juanita Rodgers, Elhannah Cole, and Olen Cole Jr.; brothers and sisters, Bobby King, Cecil King, Johnny King, Cora Lee King, Ida May King, Dorothy King and Rosa Lee King.
She is survived by the following members of her family: children, Ruby Wilson, Middlesboro, Charlotte (Charlie) Buis, Middlesboro, and Robert (Glenna) Cole, Middlesboro; special niece and nephew, Barthina Butler and Joe Harshaw of Marion, Ind.; 50 grandchildren and 90 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. James Chesney presiding. Music will be provided by the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Choir.
Interment will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Matt Helms, Rodger Brown, Jack Helms, Tyrone Wilson. Shawntwain Wilson, William Brooks, Joe Howard, and Charles Buis.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church
Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
