On Wednesday, a Bell County grand jury indicted Mark Blansit, 37, of Pineville, on one count of sodomy and two counts of sexual abuse in connection with incidents occurring in 2003 and 2004.
The indictment specifically charges Blansit that between March 11, 2003 and March 11, 2004, Blansit engaged in “deviate sexual intercourse” and “sexual contact” with A.P., a child less than 12 years of age.
Sodomy is considered a class A felony. Sexual intercourse is considered a class D felony.
