Individuals interested in organizing a Relay team to participate in the 2007 Lee County Relay for Life are invited to attend or send a representative to the Team Captains meeting at Jonesville United Methodist Church on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 5:30 p.m.

Last year's teams are encouraged to return, as well as the formation of new teams. The Relay Planning Committee meeting will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m.

These fun-filled overnight events are held in more than 4,700 communities across the United States, and 25 other countries around the world. Last year, more than 3 million Americans participated in Relay for Life - 550,000 of who were cancer survivors.
