She was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amanda (Lester) Rowlett. She was preceded in death by husband: Roy E. Ford; daughter: Norma LaPointe; brothers: Wylie, Gillis, and Murphy Rowlett; sisters: Elizabeth Lambert, Pearl Fowler, Maude Fowler, Edna Idol, and Flora Hall; grandsons: Alexander and Matthew Fletcher.
She is survived by her sons: William F. (Wanda), Paul E. (Diane), Ronald E. (Paula) and Donald E. (Jean) all of Monroe, Mi.; daughter: Carolyn Sue (Anthony) Fletcher of LaSalle, Mi.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 6 at 11 a.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home in Monroe, Mi. with Rev. Von Loop, pastor of Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Mi.
