Abby Turner invites girls from the 5th grade and up to sign up for the Claiborne Comets All-Star competitive cheer team. The Claiborne Comets have place first in many competitions. An all-star squad teaches discipline, hard work and commitment. Sign ups are for 5th thru 10th grade with limited tumbling experience and an open senior squad with tumbling experience.

CHS Baseball Car Wash

There will be a car wash on Saturday, March 24 at Walmart in New Tazewell from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. for the Claiborne High School baseball team. Proceeds will go for new bats and scorestand.

All donations accepted.

VFW Pool Tournaments

The New Tazewell VFW Post 8779 will be hosting a Pool Tournament every Saturday night starting at 8 p.m.

Claiborne County Rescue Squad Bass Tournament

Mark you Calendars: The Claiborne County Rescue Squad will hold their Sixth Annual Bass Tournament on Saturday, April 14. Applications for the tournament will be available in the near fixture. Come out and support your local volunteer Rescue Squad.
